Sure they’re “fast movers” but honestly….once those dudes are “inbound” they’re completely vulnerable. You think any of these neat-o “floaty dudes” has the ability to return fire?? Combine this with invisibility/stealth technology and you would have a winner, but still not as good as silent air dropping at night. Better for active combat, but problem is you can't shoot while flying. Ultimately, armed drones are going to be better. Best use seems to be rapid/immediate deployment over water or rough terrain. Drones could be used to scout first. I was on a search and rescue team and this was my fantasy for getting to a victim quickly to deliver medical care. But it can't be used to retrieve them. If it is capable of carrying a stokes litter, a team could get them to a suitable LZ for exfil.

With hands free a jet pack soldier becomes a lot more useful. The somali pirates wont wait for you to get your gun.😅
